Seven Quick Takes 39 – Holy Week

Monday:

He arrived in Jerusalem. They cheered and spread garments and tree branches before him.

Tuesday:

He taught and admonished the people.

Wednesday:

Judas, his friend, his follower, agreed to deliver him for thirty pieces of silver.

Thursday:

He ate with his friends. He washed their feet, he gave them his body and blood. The crowd took him away.

Friday:

They crucified him. He died, like a common criminal, on a cross. His mother, some other women, and his young friend stood by. Most of his friends were too afraid.

Saturday:

His body lay in the tomb. Still, he preached to those imprisoned.

Sunday:

He arose! Alleluia! He has conquered death and sin!
